Policy

Concordia Prep School welcomes applications from students desiring a challenging academic program within a Christian environment. Each applicant is evaluated on the strength of academic achievement, readiness, test scores, sense of responsibility, and desire to succeed in a Christian atmosphere. Admission is open to all students despite race, color, national or ethnic origin, and disability who possess the motivation, ability and character that would enable them to succeed in a rigorous academic environment.

Procedure

The admissions process begins with receipt of the application and $50 fee.
Parents are encouraged to attend an Open House or to make an appointment to visit the school. You will meet with the Admissions Director, tour the campus, and have the opportunity to look in on classes. Students are encouraged to experience daily life at Concordia Preparatory School through Shadow Days, which may be scheduled through the Admissions Office at extension 240. Shadow Days begin for Upper School on Wednesday, September 19 and for Middle School on Tuesday, October 2.  A transcript covering previous academic work is required. A release form will be sent to you upon receipt of the application in the Admissions Office. It will facilitate requesting your child’s school records from the current and previous year being sent to the Concordia Prep School Admissions Office.

We do not require, yet strongly recommend, completion of the ISEE test for admission to the school. Students applying for Middle School (grades 6, 7 or 8) or High School (grades 9 and 10) may take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), or the HSPT. Click here for information about dates, sites and registration for the ISEE test.

An interview with the applicant and his/her parents is required. An appointment time will be scheduled once admissions testing has been completed.
