Dear Concordia Prep Families,

This school year is off to a great start and I am excited about all of the wonderful opportunities that await. At Concordia Preparatory we value faith, integrity, service, leadership, and community and all of these values have been on display throughout the start of the school year. During my opening Chapel message, I challenged the students to be open-minded about their faith, to get involved here on campus, and to work hard in all of their pursuits this year. I know that if students answer my challenge, their opportunities are limitless.

I am proud of our CPS community. Last week, we challenged students and parents to partner with Class Produce Company, to provide help for those struggling with the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Harvey. With only two days to meet the challenge, I was concerned that our response would be limited. Instead, our families answered the call with an overwhelming response. I am proud to announce Class Produce was able to meet its goal and an entire semi full of food was delivered to the Texas Food Bank.

I look forward to working with each of our students, families, faculty and staff, and alumni to build a community that is devoted to excellence in education, leadership, and Christian service.

In Christ,

Brent Johnson
