All CPS students will attend a Retreat Day on Friday, September 8.

Middle School Students:

Middle School Students will have a retreat day located on campus.The students are invited to dress down in active wear as the day will be filled with community-building activities, class challenges, and a lot of fun. Please adhere to the Middle School Handbook for dress down day appropriate attire.The middle school students should plan to bring their own lunch for retreat day.

Upper School Students:

  • The Freshmen have a packed day of activities at River Valley Ranch, including ziplining, a low ropes course and team-building activities. 
  • Sophomores will go to the Lutheran Mission Society to help with cleaning, painting, and sorting donated clothes in the morning. In the afternoon, they will have time for fun at Monster Mini Golf with golf & laser tag.
  • The Juniors are going to The Baltimore Zoo. They will leave at about 10:45 am. Prior to that the class will watch the movie “Remember the Titans”. The theme for the day is “Leadership and Attitude” and this movie is certainly about both. At the Zoo, they will have a brief class meeting to discuss our Ring Event scheduled for January.
  • The Seniors will spend the first part of the morning planning for Homecoming and upcoming service projects. They will go to Dave and Buster’s at Arundel Mills Mall for team building activities, a lunch buffet, and bowling. Seniors will take part in a scavenger hunt and have time to enjoy the arcade games.
